Big Fear are a rising London trio formed by Alice Edwards (lead vocals), Jack Wilkinson (guitar) and Ben Crone (synth). Dystopian and operatic, their sound blends elements of alt-pop and indie rock, led by the magnetic storytelling of singer Alice Edwards, who creates a space where outsiders can belong. The band’s vision comes to life on their flawless debut EP ‘Career Day’, produced by Charlie Andrew (alt-J, Wolf Alice), which recently surpassed 250,000 Spotify streams and has been featured on editorial playlists such as New Music Friday, Melomania, Hot New Bands and Peach. Backed by praise from BBC Radio 6 Music, Dork and Clash Magazine, plus spins on John Kennedy’s Radio X show and BBC Music Introducing, Big Fear appeared at Truck Festival this summer and recently supported The Howlers at London’s Scala alongside Kynsy.
Slinky Malinky are a Cardiff band whose songs feel like overheard conversations - wiry, literate and restless, delivered with urgency but never without wit. There’s a clear line running through their sound from the Velvet Underground to the art-rock and post-punk energy that spilled out of 1970s New York - the kind of tension and immediacy associated with CBGB and the Mudd Club, where Television, Talking Heads and Jonathan Richman & The Modern Lovers rewrote the rules in real time.
Formed around a shared love of repetition, melody and restraint, Slinky Malinky make music that feels instinctive rather than laboured - sharp guitar lines, elastic rhythms, and lyrics that observe rather than explain. Ideas matter here, but so does momentum; songs are built to move, not to sit still.
There’s humour in Slinky Malinky’s writing, but also tension - romance brushing up against paranoia, curiosity set loose in a world that rarely offers clean explanations.

Slummz are a 5 piece Post Punk band from Cardiff. Fusing the raw energy of old school punk with a modern zeal for tight riffs and bouncy rhythms, they deliver songs both personal and opinionated in one chaotic package.
