This year’s theme is Honouring our Communities. This theme recognises Black individuals whose everyday service, care and leadership strengthen communities in the UK and globally. It provides a framework to celebrate both prominent achievements and less visible contributions, while recognising the resilience of partners across Africa, the Caribbean, and the Commonwealth. It is also about taking sharing our stories and honouring our community heroes while challenging the narratives that have often overlooked the contributions and achievements of Black individuals both in the UK and globally.
