ABOUT LISA MAIONE
Lisa J. Maione is an artist, designer, writer and educator. Born in Tokyo, Japan and raised in California and Texas, her creative practice is a meditation on the fluid poetics of recognition that emerge between form, language, experience and memory. Her visual work has been exhibited nationally and internationally. She has spoken at and taught in art and design programs including Parsons School of Design, Queens College CUNY, currently as a Associate Professor of Graphic Design at the Kansas City Art Institute. She holds an MFA and BFA in Graphic Design from Rhode Island School of Design and a post-graduate certificate in Typeface Design from Type@Cooper NYC.
This event is FREE but seating is limited – registration required . Check-in upon arrival is appreciated but not required.
