As part of the Give2Give project, this interactive 90-minute workshop will bring together businesses, sponsors and community organisations to explore how to create stronger, more valuable partnerships.
The session will consider sponsorship from both sides—those providing support and those seeking it. Participants will explore what each party can contribute to a partnership, from funding, products and professional expertise to volunteers, networks, promotion, community knowledge and shared experiences.
The workshop will also explore how to align sponsorships and community giving with organisational values, create genuine benefits for both parties, and make the most of a partnership beyond simply placing a logo on promotional material.
Through practical examples, group activities and shared discussion, participants will gain a better understanding of what makes sponsorships successful, sustainable and valuable for businesses and the community.
This session is presented by the Alice Springs Community Foundation through its Give2Give project, which connects local giving with community needs and opportunities.
