As part of our opening celebrations, Beyond the Leash is hosting a Dog First Aid & Emergency Awareness Workshop, together with a veterinarian.
Have you ever wondered what you would do if your dog suddenly started choking, suffered an injury, was poisoned or experienced a medical emergency?
Would you know what to do — and just as importantly, what NOT to do — while getting veterinary help?
This morning is all about helping dog owners feel more informed, prepared and confident when their four-legged family members need them most.
🐾 WHAT WILL WE COVER?
🩺 Recognising a veterinary emergency
❤️ Bleeding, wounds and burns
🐶 Choking emergencies
☀️ Heatstroke
⚠️ Poisoning
🐝 Bites and stings
💜 Seizures
🩹 Basic bandaging
🚗 Safely transporting an injured dog
🐾 What to do (and avoid doing) while seeking veterinary assistance
Plus practical demonstrations and an opportunity to ask the vet your questions!
Final clinical topics and demonstrations will be guided by our veterinarian.

Your doggies can enjoy a relaxing morning at home while you learn some valuable skills to help keep them safe! ❤️
