With searing vocals, raw electric blues energy, and a magnetic stage presence, Beth Chia lights up every room she plays with a restless creative passion. Her sound marries the creative eclecticism of artists like PJ Harvey with the swagger of White Stripes-style rock and a socially conscious roots energy.
Her dynamic live show can feature any mix of delicate acoustic flourishes, electric blues, loop pedal trances, thunderous drums, and that intoxicating voice in a cathartic release of nature driven soul power.
From supporting the likes of Abbie May, Ella Hooper and The Black Sorrows, to touring rentlessly across the southwest and beyond, Beth has been carving a space that’s entirely her own — fierce, feminine and with lyrics that cut deep into the social heart of humanity.
Deeply connected to her causes and community, Beth’s voice extends beyond the stage through her advocacy with environmental groups such as Southwest NRM.
Beth Chia is pure, unapologetic, feminine fire.
