The Greek Community of Tasmania is excited to bring the Greek Film Festival to Hobart with a special screening of Best Friends Forever (Φίλοι Για Πάντα).Written and directed by Konstantinos Mousoulis, Best Friends Forever is a contemporary Greek comedy about friendship, relationships and just how far we’re willing to go to help the people closest to us.
A wedding goes off the rails before it even begins. A well-intentioned favour turns into a chaotic trip to Crete filled with misunderstandings and family tensions, while a series of seemingly innocent errands begin to entangle friends, families and relationships.
Following parallel stories that eventually collide around one very complicated wedding, the film turns good intentions into chaos while asking a simple question: how far would you go for your friends?
The film features an ensemble cast including Thanasis Tsaltampasis, Agorasti Arvaniti, Doretta Papadimitriou, Thanasis Alevras, Zisis Roumbos, Matina Nikolaou, Giannis Apergis, Chrysa Michalopoulou, Takis Papamattheou and Louis Mandylor.
