B.E.S.T. (Basic Education for Safe Travel) class is designed for childcare and foster care providers who need to meet professional car seat safety requirements.This class has two parts:
• Complete the online Car Seat Basics course (about 1–1.5 hours).
• Attend a hands-on session (about 1 hour) to demonstrate car seat installation with guidance from a facilitator.
The online course must be completed before the hands-on session, which must be completed within 30 days. Each participant must register separately for a hands-on session.
The cost is $30 per participant, paid at the hands-on session. Cash and credit cards are accepted.
If you do not need B.E.S.T. for professional requirements, free car seat checks are available Tuesdays and Thursdays by appointment.
