Bernice Ye brings her solo stand-up show Wuhan Clan Ain't Nuthin' ta Duck Wit to Chicago: one night only at The Lincoln Lodge in Logan Square, Thursday, March 25, 2027.
Chicago is where all of it started. Bernice grew up in Wuhan, earned a computer science degree from Peking University, and came to the U.S. with $1,000 for a master's at Purdue. Chicago was the first American city she ever set foot in, and her first phone call here was 911.
From Purdue, she built a career at Microsoft and Hulu, then walked away from all of it for the comedy stage. Now she's an international touring comedian, comedy rapper, and Taekwondo black belt dubbed "The Jackie Chan of Comedy" by The Stranger, with 400K+ followers and over 100 million views online.
Wuhan Clan Ain't Nuthin' ta Duck Wit is where razor-sharp stand-up, infectious rap hooks, martial arts, audience interaction, and cinematic multimedia collide. Part comedy special, part concert, and unlike anything else on the comedy circuit.
