Berlin's longest-running German-English language exchange, going strong since 2008.
Every Tuesday at Straßenbräu Ausschank 2 in Kreuzberg, locals, expats, and travellers get together to practise German or English in a relaxed setting. Whether your goal is to improve your language skills or meet new people in Berlin, you are very welcome.

Language exchange is part of the evening, but the focus is social. Many people come to make friends in Berlin and enjoy conversation. First time? Just say hi to the host and we'll introduce you around.
Many regulars don't RSVP, so turnout is usually higher than the count shows.
Look for the Australian/EU or German/Berlin flags, or ask the bar staff for the language exchange group. The bar does not allow smoking and takes card. In summer we usually sit outside, in colder or rainy weather we move inside. Free to attend, just buy a drink.
