About this Event
Sunday afternoons in Toronto hit different when there are Bengal kittens involved.
Welcome to Bengal Kitten Yoga by Yoga Kawa in Toronto, where the mats go down, the kittens take over, and the week's noise quietly fades out.
Bengals are curious, confident, and a little wild-looking. They will investigate your water bottle, critique your Warrior II, and then drape themselves across your mat like they own the place. Because, honestly, they do.
Here's how the hour breaks down:
- 35 minutes of easy, beginner-friendly yoga
- 20 minutes of connection and cuddle time
- 5 minutes of sharing circle
Why people keep coming back
Kitten yoga has a way of making the room soften. A Bengal headbutts your hand mid-pose, climbs into your lap the moment you sit down, and your nervous system just... exhales. It is not something a regular Sunday class can replicate.
A note on Bengal kittens
Bengals are one of the most interactive cat breeds out there. They are playful, social, and endlessly curious. Do not be surprised if one decides your shoulder is the best seat in the room or follows you from pose to pose like a very opinionated little shadow. Their spotted coats and bright eyes make them hard to ignore, and they seem to know it.
Families and kids
This class is family-friendly. Kids ages 5 and up are welcome. Anyone under 18 must attend with a parent or guardian who also participates and helps the child move gently and handle the kittens with care.
Mats provided. No experience needed. Come exactly as you are, Sunday scaries and all.
