TALKS
① From Apple to Ideas — Damien Pascoe, Head of UX at Virtuoso
A hands-on look at creativity and the role of UX designers in the age of AI. Starting with a simple drawing exercise, Damien shows how we move from obvious solutions to unexpected concepts, when to follow familiar patterns and when to break them — and why human intuition, empathy and lived experience still set the direction.
② Making a Mark: The Decisions Behind Enduring Logos — David Airey, David Airey Studio
Brand identity designer and author of Logo Design Love, Identity Designed and Identity Designed: The Process, with clients in 30+ countries including the BBC, Yellow Pages and the Asian Development Bank. David shares what makes a mark effective and lasting — simplicity, distinctiveness and relevance — why being ownable matters as much as being memorable, and how he presents ideas to keep client feedback focused.
