Join Behind the Shoot with host Ian Hippolyte
On January 28, 2027, Ian Hippolyte, one of the top fashion photographers from London, comes to Amsterdam especially for this masterclass.
You get a look into his full workflow: concept, styling, technique, light design and set building. He then shoots in his own style and explains why he makes certain choices. He also walks you through his edit process.
Epson then takes the stage with a presentation on how printing can become part of your own business as a photographer. You’ll hear how other photographers turned prints into an extra revenue stream next to their regular work, and what it takes to build that into your own practice.
After the lunch break, it’s your turn. You shoot yourself, with your own camera, on the set Ian built, with professional models. Next to that set, 2 more sets are ready with professional models, where you can experiment just as freely. At the Epson print corner, you print your own work on the spot, refreshed every half hour throughout the afternoon. Bring your laptop to print what you’ve shot right away.
We close the day with a networking drink together with Dupho, the trade association for professional photographers in the Netherlands. A good moment to meet colleagues, product specialists and other pros from the photo and video industry.
