Host David Lombardo and co-host Jeff Nelson take the controls for Behind the Glass for a two-hour deep dive into the legendary production catalog of Brendan O'Brien. As one of the most defining rock producers of the 1990s and 2000s, O'Brien sculpted the high-octane sound of an era—mixing raw, live band energy with punchy, radio-ready polish. Across two curated hours, David and Jeff will break down his signature sonic hallmarks, from his monumental work with bands like Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, and Soundgarden to his acclaimed collaborations with Mastodon, King's X, and Rage Against the Machine.
The first hour combines rich behind-the-scenes narrative, rare session insights, and side-by-side tracks, setting the stage for a handpicked vinyl listening showcase in hour two. On our reference-grade audio system, every crunchy guitar stack, thunderous drum transient, and driving bassline will hit the room with massive, room-shaking realism.
Grab your spot, order a fresh drink from the bar, and re-experience the power of modern rock's most influential studio mastermind.
Doors at 6:30. Program begins at 7:00pm.
It's not just the bands and artists that make your favorite music.
