Two leaders of the DMV dining community are stepping out of their usual roles and behind the bar. 🍸
Join us at Daikaya where Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington (RAMW) President & CEO Shawn Townsend is teaming up with Daikaya Group Executive Chef & Partner Katsuya Fukushima for a special two-hour guest bartending takeover.
Known for pushing culinary boundaries from minibar to Daikaya's iconic ramen and izakaya menus, Chef Katsuya joins Shawn behind the bar to shake up signature drinks and bring big energy to Chinatown/Penn Quarter.
Best of all, it’s a drink with a purpose - a portion of the evening's proceeds will benefit Educated Eats, supporting scholarships and educational programs for aspiring culinary students as well as active industry workers advancing their skills and careers.
