Beginner Workshop Crochet Baskets
Discover the joys of crocheting beautiful storage baskets using a chunky 6mm hook & 5mm recycled cotton braid.
We will be crocheting two baskets in the following sizes:
Medium - approximately H9cm x W15cm (wooden basket base)
and
Mini - approximately H10cm x W10cm (wooden basket base)
These baskets are so useful & can be used for storing toiletries or jewellery, craft supplies and tools, stationary, sweets, or even displaying keepsakes and found objects. They are an excellent way of adding a personal touch to your office, bathroom or crafts studio or making a thoughtful gift for a friend.
Beginner - friendly class, no previous crochet experience required for this creative and sociable class.
All materials including crochet pattern supplied. Included are 2 faux leather tags to really make your basket look perfectly finished off. We will be using high quality Oeko-Tex certified cotton yarn from Bobbiny. A choice of colours will be available on the day.
Tutor Mareike Schmidt is passionate about modern crochet projects for home décor and accessories and likes to experiment with all kinds of patterns to bring out colour and texture.
