About this Event

Have you always wanted to try tennis but never knew where to start?

If you’ve always wanted to learn tennis, this is the perfect place to start.

Come along, learn the basics, meet new people, and enjoy the game!

Our Dublin Adult Beginner Tennis Course is designed specifically for complete beginners and novice players. Whether you've never held a racquet before or just want to build confidence, this course will help you learn tennis in a relaxed, supportive environment.

Our goal is simple: make tennis easy, fun, and enjoyable from the very first session.


What You Will Learn

During the sessions you will learn the core fundamentals of tennis, including:

• Basic grip techniques and stroke mechanics
• Forehand and backhand fundamentals
• Serve basics and ball control
• Footwork, balance, and court movement
• Tennis rules, scoring, and court etiquette
• How to rally and play simple practice games

All lessons use beginner-friendly red balls, which bounce slower and make learning much easier.


Recommended Session Times

Ringsend Park:Additional sessions between 09:00 –17:00 may be arranged depending on availability.

To create a fun group atmosphere and allow beginners to practise together, we recommend joining our main group sessions:

Saturday: 11:00 – 14:00 (Best Value - €15)Ellenfield Park
Sunday: 11:00 – 12:00 (Best Value - €15)Ellenfield Park

Group sessions offer the best value and the most social learning experience.These are the primary group training sessions where most players attend.

Group sessions will run once a minimum number of participants is reached.

If these times do not suit you, feel free to contact us and we will try to arrange another suitable time.
