Beginner Lathe Workshop (Carbide Tools)

In this workshop participants will be given a demonstration of different turning techniques and safety information using carbide tipped lathe tools.

Participants will then have the option to make a small cup, small bowl/platter, or a pen with the guidance of the instructor.

This class includes a brief safety session covering dangers of the lathe, proper tool and hand positioning, and the required ppe.

Possible safety hazards include: wood chips hitting participant(s), workpiece dislodging, tool being pulled from hands

Please bring Safety Glasses, Earplugs, and optionally; a Face Shield
