🌿 BEGINNER BOOSTER MAHJONG WITH LOCOMAHJBuild Your Mahjong Skills + Play with Confidence
Already taken a beginner American Mahjong class but still need a little help before you are ready to jump into regular play?
This is your next step!
**Beginner Booster with LocoMahj** is a warm, supportive session for anyone who has taken a basic introduction to American Mahjong, whether with LocoMahj or somewhere else, and wants to strengthen their skills and build confidence at the table.
This guided, hands-on session is designed to bridge the gap between **learning the rules and actually feeling comfortable playing the game.**
⭐ WHAT WE WILL WORK ON
• Build sample hands together so the patterns start to “click”
• Walk through the 2026 NMJL card and talk strategy
• Practice spotting exposures and reading the table
• Play real hands with gentle guidance
• Ask questions in a relaxed, no-pressure environment
Bring your curiosity, your NMJL card if you have one, and your “I-think-I-remember-this” energy!
**We supply everything else you need to play.** LocoMahj will bring the tiles, structure, guidance, and encouragement to help everything start falling into place.
This is a **Level 2 / Next Step class**, so participants should already have had a basic introduction to American Mahjong.
