Holidays are starting all around us and Belly Dance is still a beautiful way to get to know yourself, express yourself, grow and make new friends and create new ideas, release stress and be yourself for a while. Belly Dance is for everyone that has a body and wants to know & learn, to explore & grow, you jus want to move, dance and feel alive!In class we will start with light stretching then go over basic movements and concepts, the feet, arms and hands and the torso, the music, the history, costuming for different styles of Belly Dance also the why and the how of it all and we start putting it all together. 🙂
Beginner classes are designed to help you understand how this dance form matches everyone's body and style. If you are just beginning to learn, trying to get back into dancing after having some time off, maybe polish-up on technique or just want a new way to move your body and exercise your mind 🙂
Bring a water with you and wear clothing that does not restrict any movement... like: yoga pants, shorts, tank top, sports bra, tshirt... When you arrive please come in the red door on the side of the building. I have extra hip scarves to borrow in class.
These session are for 4 weeks (4 Thursday evenings) = $60.00
Or 3 week due to holidays. = $45.00
Drop in = $15.00
Class is for one hour.
Class starts at 6:45pm. You are welcome to come in about 5/10 minutes early to get settled in and ready.
If your schedule will not allow you to commit to the full session and you prefer to drop into a class here n there the drop in fee is $15.00. You may pay at the door before class begins...
