Bees Made Honey in the Vein Tree is a post-doom band from Stuttgart, Germany, whose sound has transcended conventional genre boundaries since 2017. Their music thrives on radical contrasts between light and dark, loud and soft, fast and slow. Their compositions blend brutal doom riffs with atmospheric post-rock and iridescent shoegaze. This interplay gives rise to a distinctive sonic universe that is relatively unique within the vast landscape ofpsychedelic and progressive music. Over this is layered heavily reverberated vocals, which take on the role of another instrument, lending the music depth and aesthetic appeal, while the metaphorical lyrics create a visual, almost cinematic dimension. An unmistakable signature blending heaviness and lightness, intensity and ease, turmoil and grace.
With their album In Between Strides, released in September 2026 via Magnetic Eye Records, Bees Made Honey in the Vein Tree bring their versatile style together while simultaneously opening the next chapter in their musical evolution. While the characteristic heaviness of doom continues to form the foundation, this time the influences
of post-rock and shoegaze come more strongly to the fore. To celebrate the album’s release, the band will go on tour in November, bringing their immersive „wall of sound“ to the stage.
