Things feel better outsite 🔆 Gentle community walks & outdoor time all year round with no pressure.
Previously known as Bedford Mindful Walks
Free & no booking required - Donations to the charity are welcome!
Second Monday 6.15pm of every month ✨
Donations to Bedford Pride Festival for this month's walk are appreciated but are not mandatory. You are welcome to ask me about other ways to support our LGBTQ+ community in Bedford.
WALK FORMAT:
We meet outside the front of swan hotel.
Relaxed wellbeing check in with each other or just walk in peace without the pressure to talk.
We walk all the way round Embankment. To the bridge before Aspects Leisure Park, to the Riverside Bar where it finishes.
We have stops in silence at the two bridges before the riverside bar with a guided mindfulness prompt. We end the walk with a gratitude prompt.
*this is optional, if you do not like bridges please wait where you feel more comfortable*
If you like to have a break halfway you can cross at the Butterfly Bridge, sit down at Longholme benches. Then join us when we walk round to meet you roughly 10 minutes later.
This is a relaxed format and might change according to the needs of the group.
Most importantly we get outside & have safe company!🔆
Everyone is welcome, including dogs 🐶
📸 I might sometimes take pictures from behind without people's faces in. This is only for promotional event listing purposes.
- If you are not ok with this please let me know and I not include you in any photos.
