We are thrilled to announce the Bedford Christmas Lights Switch On will be back on 21 November, 2026 (Sat). This event takes place midday-6pm in Harpur Square, Bedford town centre, creating a magical atmosphere with live music, carols, craft stalls, delicious food, and family-friendly activities including a free face-painter and free festive movies in the Harpur Suite from noon. The Mayor of Bedford Borough, Tom Wootton, will perform the much-anticipated switch-on of the Christmas lights, signalling the start of the holiday festivities at 5pm.
It's the perfect way to kick off the festive season and create lasting memories with family and friends. We look forward to seeing you there!
