Come along any time between 10am and 3pm (last walk in is 2.30) to get one item per household repaired for free, by local volunteers. No need to book, but please be prepared to queue! You will have to wait up to an hour to see one of our volunteers, but luckily the cosy Project 229 cafe has coffee, cake, games and books!
We can fix textiles, bikes, woodworking and small electricals. One item per household can be looked at by our volunteers :) Remember to bring plugs, spare parts etc!
Venue: Project 229 on Bedford Road, Kempston MK42 8DA. Look out for the spots!
Parking is on nearby streets, or feel free to use the forecourt if you have accessibility needs.
Project 229 is all on one floor, and has an accessible toilet.
While waiting for your repair, you will need to stay with your item and look after it yourself.
Yep, repairs are free, but we appreciate donations (cash or by a payment link) if you can afford it. We run on donations!
