This November, Bear Tree Records are opening the doors at Sheffield's Foundry for a very special night with two-time BRIT Award winner Becky Hill, who'll be playing an intimate show plus a guest DJ set, just as her eagerly anticipated third album, REBECCA, arrives.REBECCA was written during a period of intense personal and artistic reflection and sees Becky exploring ambition, identity, visibility and the contradictions of her life from a place of greater openness and creative freedom. Across the record, she examines the tension between desire and self-preservation with clarity, humour and brutal honesty, resulting in her boldest, most emotionally charged body of work to date.
Described by Becky as "curated chaos", REBECCA also marks a significant evolution in her sound. She reconnects with the wider influences that shaped her early musical identity, drawing on guitar music alongside the dance and drum & bass foundations that have defined her career. The result blends that collision of worlds with heavy electro production, alternative influences and euphoric electronics into an album that feels both expansive and unpredictable.
Bear Tree Records have built a reputation for bringing big names into close-quarters settings, and this one is no exception. Known for packing out festival main stages and arenas, Becky will be stepping into Foundry, one of the most intimate rooms she'll play all year, giving fans a rare, up-close chance to hear new music from REBECCA alongside the anthems that made her one of the UK's most beloved voices in dance music.
It's a one-night-only show at one of Sheffield's best-loved live rooms, where every lyric, drop and chorus will hit that little bit harder. Tickets go on sale at 12pm on Friday 23rd October, exclusively through the Bear Tree Records website, and with capacity strictly limited, they're not expected to hang around for long.
