About this Event
Participants will learn the basics of setting up a bead loom, including how to place and secure warp threads, start the first row of beads, and practice the foundational techniques for weaving beads into a beautiful design. We’ll take things step by step, building confidence with each new skill while exploring the creative possibilities of beadwork. Whether you’re curious about trying a new craft or excited to begin your own beaded project, this workshop offers a welcoming space to learn, practice, and connect with fellow creatives. No previous bead looming experience is necessary!
Women’s Wisdom Art offers free arts, writing, and wellness workshops for women through five Sacramento County nonprofits at six locations, along with public drop-in workshops and community events throughout Sacramento.
