Join the Beacons Business Network for a very special edition of our monthly B2B Netwalk as we celebrate the festive season, connect local business leaders, and raise vital awareness for our chosen charity partner, Tŷ Hafan Children’s Hospice.
Whether you are a regular netwalker or joining us for the first time, this is the perfect opportunity to ditch the boardroom, build meaningful business relationships in the fresh air, and toast to an early Christmas together on the Bay.
Special Guest Announcement: Mia Connor
This month’s walk is particularly close to our hearts. Subject to health, we are honoured to be joined by Mia Connor - one of the primary inspirations behind our long-term partnership with Tŷ Hafan. Having Mia with us makes this Christmas walk truly special, and we look forward to giving her a warm Beacons Business Network welcome.
The Route & Accessibility
We will be taking on the Cardiff Bay Circular, covering approximately 6.5 miles around the bay and barrage.
- Terrain: Tarmac and flat paved footways throughout.
- Pace: Comfortable, conversational (2 to 3 hours of walking time).
- Accessibility: Genuinely inclusive! The route features wide paths and low-gradient ramps across Pont y Werin bridge, making it fully accessible for wheelchair users, mobility scooters, pushchairs, and four-legged friends.
Festive Social & Mulled Wine
What’s a Christmas walk without a festive pitstop? Following the walk, we will assemble overlooking the water for a warm glass of festive mulled wine (and non-alcoholic options) to celebrate the start of the holiday season and keep the networking conversations flowing.
If that's piqued your interest, join us for a great walk with a great group of professionals. A slow and steady pace with lots of chatting and getting to know one another.
This is an informal gathering of like minded people with a focus on "all things business". As we chat, we will have the chance to take in some of the best views in Wales (and take lots of photos). Please Note; Individuals are responsible for their own fitness assessment. It's not a race, but attendees will require the ability to walk varying terrain (with climbs) for multiple hours.
If you decide to walk with us, you are accountable for your own fitness and safety and all money raised on the day will be donated to Ty Hafan. **We are not a business and this is not a professional / guided event**.
