About this Event
This interactive, two-hour workshop is for professionals curious about business ownership, entrepreneurship or alternative career paths who want a structured way to evaluate what may be right for them.
What You’ll Explore
- How your natural behavioral style may influence your strengths, preferred work environment, decision-making and potential roadblocks
- Your goals for Income, Lifestyle, Wealth and Equity
- Fears and assumptions that may be limiting what you’re willing to consider
- Career and ownership paths: employment, startup, existing business and franchising
- How your skills may transfer into new industries and ownership roles
- The role you may want to play as an owner, from hands-on involvement to leading a team
- The financial numbers to know and how they can influence funding possibilities
This isn’t about convincing you to become a business owner. It’s about helping you think like an investor, challenge assumptions, research possibilities and determine what deserves further exploration.
You’ll leave with greater self-awareness, a clearer vision for your future and practical next steps for continuing your education and research using resources such as the SBDC, Career Ownership Coaching and other subject matter experts.
After registering, participants will receive access to a personalized client portal where they will complete exercises before attending. More information on this will come from [email protected] after you register for this course.
