BE OUR JEST! Musical theatre is full of drama, heartbreak and big emotional ballads. But sometimes, you just want a good laugh!
Be Our Jest is Big Gay Piano Bar's musical comedy showcase, bringing together a fabulous lineup of Sydney performers for a night celebrating the funniest songs in musical theatre.
From outrageous character numbers and clever comic storytelling to witty lyrics, ridiculous situations and gloriously over-the-top performances, this is a night dedicated to the lighter side of musical theatre.
Expect songs from Broadway and beyond, including familiar favourites, hidden gems and some wonderfully unexpected choices.
Hosted by John Milligan at the piano, Be Our Jest is part of BGPB Presents, our series of curated community showcases celebrating Sydney's incredible musical theatre talent.
With a fantastic lineup of singers, plenty of laughs and a few spontaneous Big Gay Piano Bar request moments along the way, you're in for a brilliantly entertaining night!
