Basic Life Support (BLS) - Richmond Pharmacology 12/08/2025
Basic Life Support Course level 1 was developed for those working within health and social care settings, regardless of their role or previous experience.
The two hours course is designed to teach the basic skills in emergency, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation and the use of Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Management of choking and recovery position will also be covered.
Course time: 2 hours face to face (Time for 6-12 candidates)
Certificate: Sucessfull candidates receive a Richmond BLS certificate align with RCUK 2021 guidelines.
No pre-course preparation required.
During the course, you will develop the skills to:
- Awareness of RCUK 2021 guidelines and Chain of Survival.-Demonstrated CPR and the safe use of AED as per RCUK 2021 guidelines.
- Awareness of choking management in adults.
- Awareness of recovery position.
