Discover the satisfaction of turning a stone into a pendant you created with your own hands.In our Basic Bezel Setting Cabochon Pendant class, you’ll explore one of the most popular ways to set a stone in jewelry. You’ll learn basic soldering and cabochon bezel-setting techniques while creating your own handmade pendant.
This project introduces two foundational skills through a finished piece of jewelry. As you work through the process, you’ll begin understanding how soldering and stone setting come together to transform a cabochon into something you can wear.
This beginner-level class is intended for students interested in learning how to set a stone by hand.
Your instructor, Kim St. Jean, is Tucson Jewelry School’s resident artist and has more than 25 years of jewelry-making teaching experience.
The class takes place in person at Tucson Jewelry School.
