The Task:
A morning of woodland management and habitat restoration - we will be clearing scrub to regenerate the woodland carpet and also planting wildflowers to help attract pollinators.
No experience is necessary and we would love you to join us. New faces are always more than welcome.
What to bring:
Please bring your gloves (we will have spares) and dress for the weather and the task.
Long trousers are advisable as there may be ticks and thorny vegetation.
Wear layers that you can remove if you get hot whilst working. Bring a waterproof as most of our sites have no shelter from the rain. If it's sunny bring a hat and suncream.
Please bring plenty of fluids and a packed lunch. We will bring a tea kit and biscuits.
Please note:
Biscuits are served at all Chiltern Rangers sessions. Please advise if you have an allergy.
Sometimes there is a need for us to use power tools that can be noisy.
