About the Presentation
Join the Vancouver Mining Exploration Group (MEG) for a presentation by Guilherme Andrade Santos on the discovery and geology of the Bukit Pasir Cu-Au porphyry deposit in the Reko Diq District of western Pakistan. The presentation will cover the geological setting, key exploration results, and the implications for the evolving understanding of the highly prospective Western Chagai Belt.
Speaker Bio
Guilherme Andrade Santos is Barrick’s Regional Exploration Manager for the Western Cordillera in North America. He has over 15 years of international exploration experience with Barrick and BHP across South America and Pakistan, focused on porphyry Cu-Au and epithermal Au systems. In his previous role as Exploration Manager at Reko Diq, he led the exploration team responsible for the discovery of the Bukit Pasir Cu-Au porphyry deposit, highlighting the significant exploration potential of the Western Chagai Belt.
