barre3 Buckhead is excited to team up with SCAD to bring you a 45 min outdoor barre3 class followed by a serene sound bath, complete with skyline views on the SCAD FASH rooftop!
Barre3 is a full-body balanced workout combining strength, cardio, and mindfulness that will leave you feeling balanced in body and empowered from within.
What To Expect
Expect a 45-minute low-impact full body barre3 workout that incorporates cardio, strength, and mindfulness. No experience required—our workout is designed for every fitness level. Our instructors offer modifications throughout class, so you can move in a way that feels both supportive and challenging for your body. Afterwards, enjoy a grounding sound bath led by Tamiko Hope.
Who it’s for: From beginners to fitness fanatics! Whether you’re looking for a fun new way to stay active, cross-train, or ease back into movement after an injury, barre3 is a safe, effective workout for all ages and levels.
BONUS: Visit the SCAD FASH Museum after class until 8:30p! The exhibit features André Leon Talley: Style Is Forever, celebrating the indelible legacy of the visionary editor, curator, and tastemaker who shaped global fashion culture. Featuring photographs, garments, and personal ephemera from Talley’s circle of designers and artists, the exhibition offers an intimate look at his influence, style, and storytelling. What To Wear
Wear comfortable clothes you can move freely in.
What To Bring
A yoga mat, water bottle, towel, and optional weights (2-6 lbs). Additionally, any props you'd like for the sound bath (sweater, blanket, eyemask, etc).
When to Arrive
20 minutes early allowing time to find parking, check in, and connect with your instructor. Class starts promptly at 6:30 PM.
Parking
SCAD FASH visitor parking is available in designated spaces on the fourth-floor of the parking garage located behind the main SCAD Atlanta building. When you enter campus, drive towards the parking garage. Just follow the pink SCAD FASH paint/signs on the floor to lead you to the parking garage and up to Level 4. Parking is complimentary, and there is no time limit. The terrace is directly connected to Level 4 of the parking deck.
