About this Event
This event offers more than a concert—it’s an immersive journey into the Baroque era. The audience will enjoy exquisite music by Baroque composers while simultaneously discovering fascinating insights into the world of historical fashion: elaborate wigs, ornate footwear, beauty marks, and the artistry of period makeup.
What makes it especially engaging is that the performers themselves will appear in authentic period costumes, bringing the era vividly to life!
The program features a unique combination of organ, flute, soprano and piano, enriched by engaging commentary and elegant Minuet choreography that brings the spirit of the Baroque era to life.
We invite the audience to take a trip into the distant past, 400 years ago, to the 16th-17th centuries. It was at this time that a style called “Baroque” appeared.
The program includes music of Bach, Vivaldi, Rameau and Scarlatti and more... with Holly Chaplin (soprano), Dmitriy Varelas (flute), Maya Vasserman (piano), Alina Grunina (guitar), Yulia Varelas (organ/piano), Alyson Guan (piano)
