Join us for a special Barker Seasonal Forum, featuring a performance by Glory June Greiff titled "A Sense Sublime: Poems & Prose of Nature and Spirituality".
After our walk through the forest of Barker Woods, listen to dramatic readings from the English Romantics and the American Transcendentalists, as well as Aldo Leopold, Gene Stratton-Porter, and Robin Wall Kimmerer. Explore with others through small group conversations what these poets and writers have to say about the wonder of nature and connection to the Infinite.
As always, we'll begin this event (4:30 PM- 5:30 PM) with a short walk through Barker Woods before heading inside the historic Barker House for our quarterly event.
