Bardic Inspiration: A Dungeons & Dragons program for young people!
Join local bards (aka theatre artists) for an exciting Dungeons & Dragons program! This weekly program invites young adventurers aged 9-12 to dive into the fantastical world of Dungeons & Dragons (D&D). Participants will create their unique fantasy characters, learn the gameplay mechanics of D&D, and explore an imaginative world full of adventure each week! D&D experience is welcome, but not required. Materials will be provided.
- Saturdays, 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM PDT
- September 26th - December 12th (9 weeks, no sessions October 10th, October 31st & November 21st)
- Upstairs studio at 1811, Pandora St, Vancouver
- Ages 8-12*
- Cost: $320 (+GST)
Playing D&D is a great way for young people to engage creatively and build community! Participants will practice:
Self-expression through the creation of a fantasy character.
Collaborative problem-solving by working through challenges and puzzles together.
Storytelling and worldbuilding skills as their actions guide the story each week.
Social and emotional skills through role-play/improv.
