Step into the spotlight and share your magic through song, story, or verse!1. Who Can Enter (Open to all ages!)
* Performers under 16 must have guardian consent.
* Solo acts, duos, and troupes are welcome.
2. Performance Details
* Time limit: 5–7 minutes per act
* Content must be family-friendly and suitable for all ages
* Accepted formats: songs, storytelling, poetry, instrumental, or other bardic arts
* Both original and traditional pieces are welcome
3. Stage & Setup
* Arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time
* Props and instruments are allowed (must be safe and manageable)
* Special requests (sound, lighting, seating) should be included on the sign-up form
4. Judging Criteria
* Performances will be evaluated on:
* Creativity & Originality – fresh ideas or unique interpretations
* Delivery & Skill – clarity, confidence, and technique
* Audience Engagement – energy, connection, and presence
* Thematic Resonance – alignment with the spirit of the Fantasy Faire
5. Performer Conduct
* Respect fellow performers, judges, and guests
* No offensive, discriminatory, or unsafe material
* Stay in designated areas when not performing
6. Awards & Recognition
* Prizes will be given for:
* Best Overall Bard
* Most Enchanting Performance
* Crowd Favorite
Select winners may be invited to perform during the closing ceremony!
7. Consent & Media
By participating, you agree to photography and recording for Faire archives and promotional use.
