Banned Books Read-In
Come join us at Midlothian Book Exchange for a Banned Books Read-In on October 7, 2026 starting at 6:00 PM! We’ve teamed up with Libro.fm to host a silent read-in and book club discussion.
We will have a silent read-in from 6:00-6:30. Find a banned book in store, bring a banned book from home, or listen to a banned audiobook. For those listening to audiobooks please bring your own device and headphones. Afterwards, we will have a mini book club session to share about the banned books we are reading.
Let's celebrate the freedom to read by exploring banned books together. Enjoy a cozy setting to read your book and meet fellow book lovers that believe in the freedom to read. Don't miss out on this opportunity to challenge censorship and embrace diverse perspectives. See you there!
