BALLROOM DANCERS!!!Join us this Sunday night at Studio M Ballroom Club in San Jose, CA!
*** SPECIAL EVENT - HEAVENLY BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION FOR DJ DAVE INGALZ!!! ***
This Sunday 10/4, we're going to celebrate DJ Dave Ingalz's Heavenly Birthday on his actual birthday - he would have been 59 years old. His sudden passing on Monday 7/13 has still impacted the SF Bay Area's dance community near and far. The music and the energy at the dance studios is not the same with the loss of Dave's music, his presence, and his personality. Please join us in-person to celebrate Dave's birthday and all of his contributions to the dance community and to share the things that Dave cherished most: music, dance, food, friends, and dirty jokes. We'll have a POTLUCK! PLEASE bring some food and treats to share with everyone.
**Please note that this special event is a one-time Mixer Sunday Party. The Mixer Sunday Party, which started September 2023, was the brainchild of Deborah Davis and Dave Ingalz to try to recreate the highly successful & fun Saturday night & Sunday night social dance parties that took place at the “Original” Starlite Ballroom in Sunnyvale and Cheryl Burke Dance in Mountain View. With Dave's passing, the organizers felt it would be best to conclude the event. However, this event was one of Dave's last visions and contributions to the SF Bay Area's dance community! As such, don't waste this opportunity to celebrate Dave...and we may make this an annual event in the future to celebrate Dave's legacy.
