Once again, Ballet BC is excited to present a unique opportunity for the local professional dance community to experience the physical languages of our guest choreographers and stagers in our beautiful Granville Island studios.
The first Choreographic Workshop of the 2026/27 season will be led by Benjamin Behrends, stager for Imre and Marne van Opstal, as well as an artist at GöteborgsOperans Danskompani, and former dancer at Nederlands Dans Theater (NDT). Participants will have the opportunity to experience the movement language and creation process of Imre and Marne van Opstal's works, which will take the stage at Bodies & Voices this Nov 5/6/7.
When: Saturday, October 31, 12:00pm-1:30pm. Warm-up space will be available beginning at 11:30am.
Where: Ballet BC, 1286 Cartwright St, Granville Island.
This workshop is open to professional and pre-professional dancers. Registration is required and spots are limited—don’t miss out!
