Balance, Tone & Flexibility – Winter 2026
My Seniors’ Balance, Tone & Flexibility Class runs every Tuesday from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Owen Sound Heritage Place Shopping Centre (Mall), located near the Food Basics entrance — just around the bend on your right.
This class is specifically designed for older adults who want to:
- Improve balance and stability
- Build functional strength
- Increase flexibility
- Strengthen core muscles
- Improve posture
- Reduce fall risk
The exercises are beginner-friendly and focus on safe, practical movements that support everyday activities. We incorporate proven balance techniques along with targeted core and posture work.
What’s Included
- A full 60-minute guided class
- 5 minutes of “BellyFit” to help tone the tummy and waistline
- Strengthening for the hips, glutes, and pelvic floor
Exercise balls are available for purchase at class for $6.

BEST PRICE: $10.00 per class paid monthly in advance.
Drop in price is $15.00 per class.
Optional Add-On Class
Immediately following at 12:15 pm, there is a 20-minute Abs & Core + Yoga Stretch session available for an additional $5. This floor-based session focuses on gentle abdominal strengthening and restorative stretches.
Instructor
Classes are led by Sally MacDonald, RHEP, an ASFA Certified Seniors’ Fitness Specialist, with experience in safe, effective programming for older adults.
