Bake Club at Windsor Eats | Gothic Gâteaux

We're getting Gothic this October, and Bake Club is ready to bring on the spook! Think Morticia, lace, Lydia Deetz and The Craft.

📍 Location: 400 Erie St E Unit 3, Windsor, ON
📅 Date: October 25th
⏰ Time: 2:00 PM - 3:00PM: Treats on the table. Serving/cutting at 3:00PM sharp
🍸 Ticket includes: 1 drink ticket for the WindsorEats bar + 1 box to take home your treats + fork and napkins to enjoy

This event is perfect for anyone who loves baking, sweets, and hanging out with people who get it — whether you’re a total beginner or a full-on pastry pro.

Each guest must bring one Gothic Gâteaux themed baked good. Your treat must serve a minimum of 12.

Your dessert can be:

• Homemade or Purchased from a local small business

It must:

• Provide at LEAST 12 servings
• Be shelf-stable (treats could be standing for up to 1h before cutting)
• Arrive on a serving tray, board, box, or stand for display.

Examples of what to bring:

• Cake, cupcakes, brownies, cookies, tarts, pies, cream puffs, cinnamon buns, macarons, cake pops, poptarts, danishes, bars, pavlovas, cookie sandwiches, etc.

1. We check you in at the door and assign your group. (There are 3 groups! Your group # is based on arrival time. Arrive early = get first pick plus get extra time to socialize 😉)
2. You make a name tag for your self and a flavour label for your treat (Feel free to bring your own lable/recipe card).
3. Grab a drink, socialize and browse all the amazing treats as they arrive!
4. We will call the first group up at 3:00pm and will continue to call each group untill all 3 groups are done. Each group will have 5 minutes to gather their treats before the next groups turn! (Each person will be able to take as many pieces as they brought-see below for more information)
5. After all groups are done, any leftovers are free for all!

🕒 Cutting starts at 3:00 PM

Please arrive no later than 2:50 pm!

Each group will have up to 5 minutes to fill their box with their slices!

Then the swap begins! The number of pieces you get is based on how many servings your dessert provides.

Example:
If your cake serves 12, you get to choose 12 pieces of other desserts. If you bring 20, you choose 20!

If you’re unsure how many servings your dessert makes, just ask us when you arrive!

Once all groups have had their 5 minutes, everyone is free to take whatever is left!

• Individual items (like cupcakes or cookies) will not be cut smaller — please keep sizes reasonable
• All desserts must be shelf-stable
• Everything must be on a tray or stand for display (disposable or reusable is ok)

There’s lots of seating inside and outside.
Windsor Eats will stay open with drinks, food, and games all afternoon and into the evening — so stick around and keep the party going 💖
