Trinity's Chancel choir and members of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra will perform J.S. Bach's Magnificat. This thrilling work features lively choruses, elegant and tuneful solos, and one of the largest orchestras ever used by Bach, including soaring trumpets, strings, flutes, oboes, tympani, and organ. This graceful and powerful setting of the Song of Mary from Luke leads us into Advent with true celebration and musical splendor and perfectly reflects the theme of this year’s Advent season at Trinity—“Magnificat”.
