B-Smart Pitch & Present 2025: Cultivating Uninterrupted Momentum

The B-Smart Pitch & Present is the culminating event of the 14-week B-Smart Entrepreneur Program. On Saturday, November 8, 2025, Cohort 12 entrepreneurs will showcase their business models to a panel of investors and community partners. It's an opportunity for entrepreneurs to secure startup funding for their early-stage businesses and receive valuable feedback.

“Uninterrupted Momentum” is about clarity, alignment, and sustained progress. Inspired by Felecia Hatcher’s reflection on “Who are you uninterrupted?”, Cohort 12 has spent 14 weeks sharpening their business models, refining their strategies and systems, and moving with greater intention and confidence in who they are as entrepreneurs.

This year’s theme honors the clarity they’ve gained and the steady rhythm they’ve built — momentum that continues beyond the program.

• Each participant will have 4 minutes to pitch their businesses.
• After each pitch, judges will have 2 minutes for Q&A.
• Judges will deliberate, and the winner will be announced.

Awards and Certificate Ceremony, Presentations, Small Business Resources, and Networking.

EVENT FEATURES

• Momentum Hour (1:00 PM): Alumni meetup, networking, and photo activation, resources, before the program begins.
• Small Business Resources: Connect with local partners and discover tools to grow your business (During Momentum Hour)
• Photo Booth + Live Event Coverage: Capture your moment of momentum at the photo booth and throughout the event.
  Live photography and video recording will be captured by Immortal Vision Studios.
• Momentum Wall Activation: Guests are invited to add their word or phrase that represents momentum in their own journey — what keeps them moving, building, or aligned. Together, these reflections will create a collective visual of what uninterrupted momentum looks like across our community.
• Certificate Ceremony: All Cohort 12 participants will be recognized and celebrated for completing the B-Smart Entrepreneur Program.
• Pitch Competition: Select entrepreneurs will take the stage to present their business models and momentum for growth before a panel of judges and community partners.

B-Smart is a free entrepreneurship program, established in 2017, designed to equip early-stage businesses with the tools, support, and capital needed to succeed. Through workshops and practical weekly assignments, participants develop key skills in business planning, entrepreneurial mindset, and more. Powered by VestedIn, in partnership with the West Philadelphia Corridor Collaborative and Drexel University’s Beachell Family Learning Center, the program provides a strong foundation for business success.
