This night is for you.
On The B Side is turning 25, and we are getting the family back together. 🎤✨
For a quarter century, On The B Side has been a gathering place for people, poetry, music, culture, creativity, and community.
Poets have blessed our microphones. Singers and musicians have filled our rooms with music. DJs have provided the soundtrack. Artists have met audiences. Audiences have become family. Friendships have started here. Relationships have started here. Careers have grown here. Memories have been made here.
Somewhere along the way, what started as an event became a community.
And now…
IT IS TIME FOR THE REUNION.

Part live music experience. Part poetry experience. Part reunion. Part celebration. Part living archive.

And it is happening during one of the biggest cultural weeks of the year.

While Miami welcomes people from around the world for a week celebrating art and culture, we are celebrating 25 years of the artists, voices, stories, poetry, music, and people who have helped make the B Side part of South Florida’s cultural story.

WHO WILL BE IN THE BUILDING? 👀
That is part of the experience.
Over the past 25 years, so many incredible poets, singers, musicians, DJs, artists, and personalities have rocked with the B Side.
And for our 25th anniversary, we have invited the family back.
Who will be in the audience?
Who will touch the stage?
Who might grab a microphone?
Who will you see that you have not seen in years?
What happens when people who have blessed B Side stages across 25 years find themselves together in the same room again?
You are going to have to be there to find out.
We are not giving everything away at once.
In the weeks leading up to B SIDE 25, watch your emails, check your text messages, and follow along as we begin making announcements, opening the B Side vault, sharing memories, and revealing more about what is coming December 5.
And yes…
We are keeping some surprises for the room.
Because if you know the B Side, you already know:
YOU HAD TO BE THERE.
And this is going to be one of those nights.
A B SIDE FAMILY REUNION
This anniversary is bigger than a lineup.
It is about the people who made 25 years possible.
The poets. The singers. The musicians. The DJs. The hosts. The photographers. The vendors. The venues. The supporters. The people who came every month. The people who came once and never forgot it. The people who brought somebody with them. The people who told somebody else:
“You need to get on the B Side.”
Whether you have been rocking with us since 2001, found the B Side somewhere along the journey, or are about to experience it for the very first time…

WE ARE CELEBRATING HISTORY AND ARCHIVING IT.
There could not be a more appropriate place for this moment than The Black Archives.
B SIDE 25 will also be an archival event, documenting the people, stories, images, and memories that have shaped On The B Side over the past 25 years.
Throughout the evening, we will be photographing patrons, capturing video, interviewing members of the B Side family, collecting stories, and sharing photographs and memories from throughout our history.
We want to hear your B Side story.
When did you first get on the B Side?
Who did you meet?
What performance do you still remember?
What night do you still talk about?
What did the B Side mean to you then?
What does it mean to you now?
Because the history of On The B Side is not simply the story of what happened on the stage.
It is the story of the people who were in the room.
On December 5, we want you in the room again.
