About this Event
Where does our food come from, and what does it take to get more local, sustainable foods to our tables? Join us for a behind-the-scenes tour of the Washtenaw Food Hub to explore the people, places, and processes shaping our local food system.
Get an inside look into the Sunflower Farm Market, tour the Hub's shared use commisary kitchens, and meet the farmers behind Tantre Farms to learn how the Food Hub is creating new opportunities for local farmers and entrepreneurs to grow their business and bring more local food to our community.
Along the way, discover how you can get more connected to the local food community, build practical skills for incorporating sustainable foods into your everyday life, and get involved through the Food Hub's workshops and events.
Curious eaters, aspiring food entrepreneurs, and experienced local foodies alike are invited to join us to gain a deeper understanding of Ann Arbor's local food system!
