Join the AWARE Textile Repair Workshop 101! Get ready to roll up your sleeves and learn some basic essential textile repair skills in person. This fun, hands-on workshop is perfect for anyone looking to fix up their favourite clothes and reduce waste.
Whether you're a total beginner or just want to sharpen your skills, we've got you covered. Bring your passion and a few garments to work on - let’s make those threads last longer together!
This workshop is volunteer led, will include refreshments and 2 or 3 different skills will be demonstrated before there will be time for you to put the new skills into practice. Registration is by donation and this will cover supplies to use and refreshments for the event.
This event is hosted by AWARE, in partnership with the Whistler Public Library and the Resort Municipality of Whistler.
