Welcome! Please join us for an IN-PERSON opportunity to learn about Energy Psychology (EP) and energy practices that can assist in achieving advanced levels of transformation; opening new avenues for deep healing and growth in your personal and professional journey!

This gathering welcomes professionals of many backgrounds; including but not limited to the practitioners AND students in these professions: Psychologists, Counselors, Marriage & Family Therapists, Social Workers, Physicians, Nurses, Health Practitioners, Chiropractors, Energy Workers, Acupuncturists, Coaches, Researchers, Educators, and More!!

This event is sponsored by the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP) and hosted by Kerri M. Vercellini, LMHC. She is the owner/therapist at Awaken Holistic Counseling Services and the Northeast Region Director for ACEP. This gathering welcomes ALL ACEP members who desire to be part of this gathering (near and far), as well as non-ACEP members who are interested in learning more about these topics.


In this 6.5 hour retreat, we will have a full schedule of a variety of offerings. Here is the anticipated agenda (which may be subject to slight modification):

*This year we will be snacking/grazing throughout the day during our programs instead of eating a dedicated lunch together. Nourishing Light Fare will be provided- please bring a more formal cold lunch if you know you will need more food.


11am-11:45am- Introductions of participants, welcome, introduction to ACEP

11:45-12:30pm- Program #1- Seroya Crouch ND, HBLU, CCIP, presents - Energy Hygiene through Subtle Anatomy: Learn how intentionally interacting with your subtle body enhances energy boundaries, and improves presence and discernment. This introduction for professionals includes exercises you can begin to apply in practice on Monday. With over 40 years' experience working with subtle energy, Seroya has integrated a wide variety of approaches to working with subtle energies and is particularly knowledgeable regarding the challenges that face practitioners.

12:30pm-12:45pm- Restroom/snack break/stretch time

12:45pm-1:30pm- Program #2- Alice W. Lee, MD, ABIHM, presents - Deprescribing: A Holistic Psychiatrist’s Calling: What is a holistic psychiatrist? Why and when should people consider withdrawing from psychiatric medications? How does functional and energy medicine overcome potential obstacles to creating safe psychiatric Medic*tion withdrawal? In this short presentation, Alice shares her expertise as a holistic and integrative psychiatrist of 23+ years. She is pioneering new approaches that restore patients’ health and allow them to come off their medications safely. Her goal: to help patients achieve lasting wellness, reclaim theirautonomy, and free themselves from their role as patients.

2:45-3:30pm - Program #4- Greg Carpenter, LMFT presents - Working with Sound Therapy Discover and experience how sound therapy can enhance client sessions and self-care. Our time together will explore practical ways to integrate sound tools for relaxation, emotional regulation, and deeper healing. The workshop concludes with a powerful group sound meditation—featuring singing bowls, flutes, didgeridoo and gongs—offering a direct experience of the journey of consciousness guided by sound alone.

3:30pm-3:45pm- Restroom/snack break/stretch time

3:45pm-5:15pm- Program #5- Nature immersion in nearby Atkinson Common- cofacilitated by the presenters; Earthing, and creating a dialogue with your intuition to enhance a deeper self-connection (includes time walking/driving to nature location and back)

5:15-5:30pm- Closing ritual/grounding

*** Due to the limited versions of these offerings being presented, we will NOT be able to provide Continuing Education Credits for this event. We apologize for the inconvenience.***

*** This retreat will OFFICIALLY conclude at 5:30pm. We will have 30 minutes to breakdown our things before leaving for the day. Individuals can then choose what they would like to do after the event. Many go out for dinner somewhere in the area together. There are LOTS of options for most dietary needs in the city!

There is FREE parking for roughly 100+ cars at the front of the building where the event is hosted. Downtown, there is paid and limited time free street parking near restaurants and the lovely waterfront boardwalk.

Seroya Crouch

Seroya Crouch, ND, HBLU, CCIP has decades of experience in various forms of energy medicine both personally and with clients. I am a Level 4 Core Individuation practitioner, and Certified Heartmath Clinician, have worked with EFT and Healing From the Body level Up (HBLU). I support clients to dis-identify with and release toxic energies, and to resolve patterns and issues that are draining them and preventing them from expressing their full potential. Alice W. Lee-

Alice W. Lee, MD, ABIHM, is a holistic and integrative child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist practicing in Stamford, Connecticut. Since 2002, she has integrated functional and energy medicine techniques to pioneer new ways to safely support psychiatric Medic*tion withdrawal. Along the way, she became certified as a Reiki master, set a legal precedent that paved the way for holistic clinicians, became board certified in integrative medicine twice, created the Infinite Intention Technique, wrote 258+ Holistic Articles, built a criteria-based energy testing approach to assess a patient’s functional status, and started a podcast called The Holistic Psychiatrist.

Currently, she is on the board of directors of the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP), which has supported her exploration of energy medicine since its early beginnings.In The Energy Field, fall 2025 issue by ACEP, she summarized her work in an article entitled “On Magic Wands and Quantum Toolboxes.”Her goal has always been to help patients achieve lasting wellness and freedom from their role as patients (Successful Withdrawal from Six Psychiatric Medications Using Criteria-Based Energy Testing: Case Report).
