About this Event
Do you wish you could step into a place where you feel completely safe, calm, and free to be yourself? Many of us experience anxiety, insecurity, fear of judgment, self-doubt, or a lack of grounding in daily life. This 2-hour creative workshop invites you to explore and cultivate your inner sense of safety through art, imagination, and subconscious intention. Guided by a facilitator, you’ll journey into your own personal safe space, using colors, shapes, and symbols inspired by Jungian dreamwork to visualize calm, security, and trust. This is a creative, facilitator-led experience, not clinical therapy.
In this workshop, you will step into a safe, comfortable, and inspiring environment where you can fully relax and let your creativity flow. You don’t need any prior drawing experience—in fact, we’ll invite you to draw with your non-dominant (left) hand, connecting with your right brain, emotions, and direct intuitive system. This helps you create art that resonates with flow and allows you to release binary judgment, supporting the recovery of your inner child’s safety qualities. Through artistic expression and guided imagination, you’ll explore your inner world and bring your personal “safe space” to life on paper, using colors, shapes, and symbols. This is a playful, experiential, and non-judgmental space where you can safely connect with your imagination, intuition, and subconscious intentions.
What You Will Experience
- Arrival & Inspiration (10 min): Begin by exploring a few imaginative examples of “safe spaces” to spark your creativity and set the mood.
- Guided Creative Meditation (20 min): Relax your body and mind, allowing your imagination to unfold. Journey through your inner world—notice comforting spaces, guardians, magical creatures, glowing corners, and cozy nooks. Connect with your subconscious intentions and explore your personal sense of safety.
- Creative Drawing: Your Safe Space (60 min): Bring your imagined safe space to life on paper. Express your inner calm and security using colors, shapes, symbols, and textures. Left-hand drawing will help you tap into your right brain, creating a more intuitive, flow-aligned, and playful expression. This is about feeling and creative expression, not technique.
- Optional Sharing & Integration (30 min): If you wish, share your artwork or reflections with the group, or simply observe and internalize the sense of calm and safety you’ve created.
